Ask The Expert: How early can I renew my coverage?

Updated: Oct 22, 2023

I have Advent and our big Christmas service coming up.

With Advent coming up, ministries are focused now on their Christmastime services. Chances are, insurance renewal might slip your mind. Many churches renew their insurance on January 1st, and they might also ask themselves, how soon can I take care of this?

The answer is, typically, within 90 days. Most insurance carriers will issue a binding quote for 90 days. Luckily, that means that if you, like many ministries, renew your insurance on January 1st, you can start shopping now!

There are many benefits to renewing your coverage this time of year, now instead of later.

  • You can avoid last minute stress. We know how busy Christmas can be for ministries! If you start the process now, you could be sitting pretty before December 25th rolls around.

  • Could you save money? Our exclusive program manager, Sovereign Insurance Group, is standing by to shop your coverage.

  • Ensure appropriate protection for your ministry. Make sure you have all the coverage you need.
